“Peace and Tranquility”- is what this city girl, turned Resort
Real Estate Agent, says when asked about why she made Punta Cana her new home.
Juggling a fast paced career and a family, Emma Espinal saw in Punta
Cana the perfect escape from bustling Santo Domingo, the nation’s capital. A
native Dominican, she visited various parts of the nation’s beautiful towns and
cities, but none offered her an opportunity to use her background in the
tourism industry while providing her son an international education.

“Punta Cana served up the best combination that would give
me the chance to have the quality of life I was looking for. My son goes to a fully bi-lingual school with
children from different backgrounds and nationalities. This is important,
because I feel that being exposed to this type of diversity will help him to
develop into a tolerant and educated person.”
While the convenient work hours and slower pace of Punta
Cana allow Emma to enjoy more time with her son, it also provides her with
plenty of activities to satisfy her adventurous personality and active
lifestyle. Having recently won 2ndamong some of the
area's most popular recreations. place the 3rd Macao Surfing Competition
(this past February 2012) she also enjoys scuba diving, windsurfing and water
skiing
Emma has worked in Tourism and Real Estate
for the past 6 years. She has resided in
the Punta Cana area since 2005.

Georgina “Gina” Benzulce, has led a carefree lifestyle traveling and
living in exotic places such as Thailand, Indonesia and India. A native
from Ibiza, Spain, Gina came to the Dominican Republic on vacation at
Rio San Juan. “I loved it so much, I came back and decided to stay. I
began opening boutiques in hotels in Punta Cana to make a living, and I
realized there was a big potential in the area.”

She took notice of the real estate industry growth and
states, “We opened Bamblue because we saw a need for something
different. Stylish, tropical styled furniture for beach properties.”
Bamblue Deco, is a home furnishing store that offers decorating services
for investors looking to rent out their units, and unique furnishings
imported from some of her favorite exotic places such as Thailand, Indonesia and India.
Their new location is located in the
Cortecito area.
Her advice to people looking to start a business in Punta Cana? "Think
hard, this is a difficult place to do business, but if you work hard,
the rewards are endless.”

Where do you live? I live in Cocotal Golf & Country Club in Bavaro, Dominican
Republic.
Do you have a fixed leisure / work routine?
What does it look like? My leisure routine consists of working out, occasionally playing
tennis, getting my favorite spa treatments, traveling, networking and enjoying
quality time with my friends. My work routine is constant; we operate during regular office
hours and extend our hours based on our clients needs.
How was your company created and which
services does your company provide? 7 Inc.
was founded by two individuals that compliment each other with their
professional background in 2007.
We are a vibrant multi-service company, specializing in
connecting each individual with the right service and solutions. Based out of Punta Cana, we are staffed with
specialists in the field of Marketing, Public Relations, Interior Design, Events
Coordination, Corporate Image Consulting, Real Estate, Administration and
V.I.P. Concierge Services.
How did you and your associate think of this business? My associate Montserrat Martinez and I realized living here how
many services are still missing in the market and how difficult it is to find
the right information or companies for the things you need. So we decided we needed to extend our
relations and experience to our community and the new editions joining all the
time.
What would you say is the biggest reason for your success in Bavaro? Our biggest success is the ability to give excellent service,
understand and deliver solutions to our clients needs. I love meeting new people and enjoy listening
and connecting them. For me Bavaro has
been a learning experience that has been challenging at times but very exciting
as well. In the end everything in life
is your attitude and I am pretty contend with mine.
If you could go back in time what would
you do differently? If I could go back in time……I would do everything the same. I am where I am today thanks to all of the
opportunities and experiences that life has presented to me. I feel so blessed to have lived in so many
different countries and to have learned about so many different cultures that I
think it helps me connect easily with people today.

Where do you live? I live the Friusa area near Bavaro.
Do you have a fixed leisure / work routine? What does it look like? I try to keep a fixed work routine, with a set office hour of 9am to 6pm, sometimes later, from Monday through Saturdays. As far as leisure, I do not have a set routine, sometimes I visit different beaches in the area, sometimes home with friends sharing nice meal by the pool.
How many hours do you work per week? I usually work about 36 hours a week.
Why did you branch out on your own, how did you do it? I decided to work independently, firstly because the contract with the company where I worked for the first two years came to an end, and second, simply to be able to work for myself.
What would you say is the biggest reason for your success in Bavaro? I would say a big factor is my perseverance, professionalism, honesty and the personalized attention along with great service that I offer to all that visit my office.
If you could go back in time, what would you do differently? If I could go back in time, I think it would take a couple of opportunities that arose and for different reasons did not, but I am happy to have by office and I am thankful to the support of my repeat clients.
